Wiping data off a storage drive isn't as simple and straightforward as you might think. Most people assume that if you either delete a file off a drive and them empty the trash, or even format a drive entirely that the data is then forever erased. But that is simply not the case at all.

You will then insert it into the computer and select which drive you want to completely erase.
