IS THE XBOX SERIES S (XBOX LOCKHART) A BABY XBOX SERIES X?

The Xbox Series S, also named the Xbox Lockhart, is rumoured to be launched in 2020 alongside the Xbox series X.

2020 has, for the most part, been a huge year for anticipated tech launches, but in the same breath been widely affected by the Covid-19 global pandemic. Needless to say, the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5 have been confirmed for release later this year regardless of the pandemic struggle. The Xbox Series X has jumped up to the top of the charts for the most anticipated console, even above the Playstation 5, primarily due to the released specs that mammoth the Playstation 5 from Sony.

Microsoft has been hinting towards a smaller, cheaper and more compact version of the Xbox Series X, which goes by the names Xbox Series S or the Xbox Lockhart. Even though no official confirmation from Microsoft has been announced for the Xbox Series S (Xbox Lockhart), it sure has made its rounds on the internet and on social media. One thing that makes the Xbox Series S (Xbox Lockhart) sound so attractive is that it would fill in the gap very well in terms of affordability, as the more expensive premium Xbox Series X is expected to be between $500 and $600.
