LEGO has broken its own record with their biggest model yet, that of the official LEGO Titanic kit that contains an eye-watering 9090 pieces!
With a kit this big, a lot of people are sceptical as to whether or not the build is going to be boring, repetitive and tedious and a lot of the time it is, however, that is not the case with the Titanic LEGO kit. The kit has been designed to be built in three separate stages, the bow, the stern and the hull and these three sections clip together solidly to complete the entire model. However, these three sections can be disconnected for display purposes again as the internals of the ship showcases all the different floors, bedrooms and beds, the Grand Staircase as well as swimming pools!
Even the pistons, boilers and crankshafts are as accurately depicted as possible and the crank and pistons turn the three propellers at the end.
This LEGO Titanic model is by far not for the faint-hearted and will set you back weeks of building, but the end result is second to none.
