TESTING OUT A VINTAGE POLAROID CAMERA

Check out this incredible vintage Polaroid Camera.

Chemist, inventor and scientist, Edwin H. Land, was on vacation. His daughter was fascinated with his camera, so he showed her how it worked by taking a picture, but she was disappointed that she couldn't see the image they just took. That one question stuck in his mind and got him thinking: how can he create an instant camera.

Edwin H. Land came to the conclusion that a camera with a built-in printer would change the entire photography industry, and it sure did!

In the early 1970s, the Polaroid camera was a hit amongst consumer photographers. What the Polaroid camera did was eliminate the post-production time of photographs completely!

As much of a success the Polaroid was for regular consumers, it was not popular amongst professional photographers. This was because the prints could never be resized and the costs involved were tremendous as well. It wouldn't be until the early 2000s that photographers would switch over to instant playback cameras with the digital era.
