THE AIRQUADONE IS THE FLYING QUAD BIKE THAT LOOKS INSANE!!
Neva's AirQuadOne takes the title as the world's first flying quad bike. This futuristic ride is a fully-electric vehicle that is expected to weigh around 500kg and can carry payloads of up to 100kg. The flying quad's 100kg battery pack makes for a flight time of 20-30 minutes and can reach speeds of up to 80km per hour.
The AirQuadOne gets its power and endurance from Neva's specially developed technology, including static thrust and semi-dynamic Electric Turbofans (ETFs). Unlike a standard electric ducted fan, a Neva Electric Turbofan has a specially calculated shaped inner shroud. The AirQuadOne will be compatible with recharging stations designed for electric cars. The idea is for the AirQuadOne to eventually replace cranes, helicopters or emergency cars and Neva also expect that a hybrid version of the AirQuadOne will be able to provide flight time around 60 minutes, based on current battery technology.
Let's see what happens, it is a really rad concept, and with the technology growing every day, it is definitely possible to make this concept a reality within the next 5 years.
