One of the most interactive features YouTube has ever created was the ability to comment as a user on other content creators content.

Of course, you don't have to comment, you could just consume the content as you please. But, if you wish to do so for whatever reason, you could leave a reply, a thumbs up, a suggestion or just your most brutally honest opinion.

As for the content creator, the YouTube comments section can either be highly beneficial in the sense that you can get direct feedback from your target audience, or you could just ignore it completely, regardless of what you personally prefer. The more comments a video has, the more likely someone is to watch your content as it's been drilled into us to be inquisitive about high-interaction content.

However, up until now, the YouTube comment section on Mobile has been quite cumbersome to view and access. YouTube is rolling out design concepts that will drastically improve the YouTube mobile user experience.
