YOUTUBE LAUNCHES NEW SHOP FEATURE

YouTube has launched a new "Shop Now" feature into their platform.

With tens of thousands of business-related YouTube content and billions of users, YouTube is launching a simple "Shop Now" feature to their platform to connect both the consumer and the product.

So, only currently in beta mode and available only in the United States, content creators can now list their products on YouTube. The user, who is watching the content, can click on the "Shop Now" icon and a list will appear for users to purchase products directly from inside of YouTube.

The possibilities are endless now for content creators to collaborate with other popular YouTube channels to feature their products.

There are some avid YouTube content consumers that are concerned that this new shopping feature will potentially interrupt the user experience, mainly for those who consume YouTube content as a main source of TV. However, we're pretty sure that YouTube has thought of these issues and will make their UI as seamless and as minimalistic as possible as always.

Take a look at the video below by YouTube channel, Later Clips, on YouTube Launching New Shop Now Feature.
