PLAYSTATION 2 EYETOY - VINTAGE GAME RECAP
Back in the mid-1990s Sony took the plunge of entering the videogame world by trying to negotiate deals with both Sega and Nintendo but was shut down by both parties, then they decided to take matters into their own hands and create their very own video game console, the PlayStation. The Sony PlayStation was the first gaming console to run games off of CDs which gave gaming developers far more leeway into what was physically possible.
A few years later, in the year 2000, Sony released their second generation console called the PlayStation 2 which took things to a whole new level with it being the first gaming console to have a built-in DVD player which was really exclusive at the time.
But Sony didn't stop there, they made a very smart move to not immediately get working on a new generation of consoles, but rather design accessories for the PlayStation 2 which lead us to things such as the guitars for Guitar Hero, the microphones for SingStar as well as the incredible and rather sentimental Sony PlayStation 2 EyeToy.
